About the project
Rendering is the penultimate stage in the production of an image, both in 2D and 3D. To start the rendering process we need the geometry, materials and lighting of a scene to be finished. From there, the 3D generalist can add textures for two actions: to give the final image of the render realism and to establish the dynamics of light on the materials.
In this project, our 3rd year student of the 3D Generalist specialization has made the renders of two elements: a jar of honey and a game console, using non-PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials. The added difficulty of Marta’s proposal has been “illuminating without the product remaining flat” explained Esteve. “Once the volume is defined, make the product stand out from the background.”
