She currently works as a freelance graphic designer and has just created her eponymous personal brand, Anna Yagüe.

From her time at our school, Anna underlines the success in offering a theoretical-practical training that reproduces the real work environment. “I consider it essential to work on real projects during higher education,” she says.

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAREER?

I started as an intern at Cosmic, where I was finally hired as a graphic designer. There I spent some very good years of maximum learning. Then I started working with Guido and David (teachers at L’Idem) on a freelance basis and, nowadays, I still share projects with them.

IN YOUR EXPERIENCE, WHAT ARE THE 5 ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF A DESIGNER?

Professionalism, organization, temperance, concentration and perseverance.

PROFESSIONALLY, WHAT ARE YOUR SOURCES OF INSPIRATION?

Design exhibitions to be always up to date and above all a lot of communication with the client, that’s where great ideas come from!

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO STUDY AT L’IDEM?

My first impression was very good in terms of the professionalism and quality of the teachers. In the end they all had external projects and that makes them prepare us for the job market.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR STAY AT THE SCHOOL?

Intense and productive. Since at L’Idem real projects are carried out at all levels, I left with a couple of clients already!

WHAT WOULD YOU HIGHLIGHT FROM YOUR TRAINING AT L’IDEM?

The teaching team at L’Idem always emphasized the constancy and demand of the projects. Also the importance of brainstorming, meeting deadlines and the preparation of final files among others. In the world of advertising and design everything is for yesterday, and at L’Idem special attention was paid to being able to work under pressure and with short deadlines.
