About the project
In this project our student has created fluids, groom (hair), clothes and dynamic simulations of rigid objects and particles. For Alejandro Lopez, VFX teacher at L’Idem, the goal of this practice has been that each student is autonomous in the use of Maya to know how to successfully deal with any effect.
The difficulty of Africa’s project has been to combine the different types of hair that coexist in the figure. In this character, an animal aesthetic (fur and accessories) coexists with a more humane one (braid, fringe), Alejandro López explained to us. The result obtained by our student is amazing.
