L’Idem Barcelona has been present at the 28th edition of ANIMAC, the International Film Festival of Animation of Catalonia, organized by the city council of Lleida from February 15 to 18.
During the days of the Exhibition, the second year students of the specialization of 2D/3D Animation and Video Games and the International Master in 2D/3D Animation held workshops in the ANIMACREA space about the different animation techniques and specializations: Concept Art, 2D/3D and Generalist 3D. The objective of this space is to bring the potential of this artistic discipline as a means of expression to the public.
In its twenty-eighth edition, and under the motto ‘Diversity’, ANIMAC has attracted more than 30,000 attendees who have been able to see 179 films of this audiovisual genre, 58 of them premiered in Spain. In addition, the short films ‘The Sun Thief’ by the students of the class of 2022 and ‘Burned Out’ of the class of 2023 , were selected to compete in the TALENT.CAT section, made up of productions from film and animation schools in Catalonia and Valencia.
