We are looking for future talents!

News

Are you a creative, awake and restless person, are you interested in the world of Animation, Video Games, Design or Advertising? We are looking for you! At L’Idem we are committed to your future and we propose you to participate in the 1st edition of #LIdemTalents, the contest through which we support the talent of young creatives. The competition is open to people over the age of 17 interested in continuing their higher education at the school and the prize is a 15% discount on enrolment fees for the first year of studies.

Who is it aimed at?

  • Students in the second year of Bachillerato or Grado Superior, or people who already have this qualification.
  • Students from foreign education systems equivalent to the Baccalaureate, or people who have the qualification.

How does #LIdemTalents work?

Based on the theme proposed by L’Idem, those interested in taking part in the competition have to create a creative work that meets the established requirements. On the one hand, animation enthusiasts are invited to create a #meettheartist illustration. On the other hand, Design fans are invited to reflect on the future through free creativity.

#LIdemTalents – Animation

The #LIdemTalents proposal for people interested in studying 2D/3D Animation and Videogames at L’Idem is to share everything that defines them as artists through an illustration. The challenge is to describe oneself, likes and dislikes, colours, food and favourite hobbies, in a ‘Meet the artist’ style drawing like these created by students at L’Idem Barcelona:

meet-the-artist

‘Meet the artist’ by Bea Moreno, student of the International Master’s in 2D/3D Animation

meet-the-artist

‘Meet the artist’ by María Rincón, student of 2D/3D Animation and Video Game studies

The format of the proposal must be jpg, png or PDF.

#LIdemTalents – Design

In the last two years our world has taken an unexpected turn, transforming the present into something convulsive and the future into something uncertain. Covid, the development of new technologies, political, social and environmental conflicts, social networks, digital society, nanotechnology, Industry 4.0, security, values and many other factors also make the future a blank canvas. As Peter Drucker, one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century said, “the best way to predict the future is to create it”.

For those interested in studying Digital Design at our school, we propose to design a creative piece containing this phrase, using the techniques of your choice (photography, illustration, typography, collage, design software, mix of techniques). The format of the proposal must be square (30cm x 30 cm or 2000x 2000 px) and the file, jpg, png or PDF.

Participation period

The deadline for participation in #LIdemTalents is 30 May. Those interested in participating can send their proposals by e-mail to the Admissions Department of L’Idem Barcelona, attaching the following documentation:

  • Application form Animation / Digital Design
  • Photograph Identity Document on both sides
  • Passport photograph
  • Certificate of completed studies
  • Portfolio of creative work
