The ADI 2022 awards recognize ‘Disseny per a la inclusió’

Design

The ADI 2022 awards have recognized ‘Disseny per a la inclusió. El procés com a resultat‘ with the ADI Culture Silver Award + ADI Culture of Opinion Award. The 2022 jury has positively valued two elements of the initiative. On the one hand, the fact that the project promotes collaboration between educational centres and different groups in vulnerable situations. And, on the other hand, the proposal of innovative solutions made from a social dimension of design. Solutions that seek to detach design from the elite and support new generations of designers. ‘Disseny per a la inclusió. El procés com a resultat‘ is a newly created project promoted by Ojalá Projects and the Museu del Disseny. Students in the 2nd year of Digital Design at L’Idem Barcelona took part in the 1st edition of the initiative, which took place during the 2020-2021 academic year.

The competition, promoted by the Industrial Design Association of Foment de les Arts i el Disseny (FAD), brings together the main awards in the field of industrial and product design in Spain. It has the following categories:

  • The Delta Awards, for industrial design professionals and companies, awarded since 1961.
  • The ADI Medals, for industrial design students, awarded since 1976.
  • The ADI Culture Awards, which recognize projects that promote design culture since 2016.
