Digital Graphics is a Belgian studio situated in Liège, the French-speaking part of the country. It is specialised in the creation of 2D/3D Animation and digital FX for movies and television. In 1994, the brothers Umé created Digital Graphics. Marc was – at the time – spacial engineer and Serge architect. Both are passionate about ITC and visual effects. It was also an era when few architects’ workplaces got automated or computerised. The company got changed, itself now devoting to the subcontracting of drawing projects, 3D visualisation and architecture.  Gradually, they also got involved in audiovisual projects for television and documentaries. In 1999, the first short film in collaboration with Arnaud Demuynck and written by Jacques Donjean, Una noche de cucaracha, was born. The movie was a great success and received various awards, one of which was the Golden Eyes award on the ACF (Audiovisual Creative Fair) for the best special effects.
