On March 1, the presentation of the different programs that are included in the project ‘Dissenyem Comerç‘, promoted by Barcelona City Council. The event was also attended by the students, teachers and merchants who have participated, as well as the new proposals that will be developed during 2023.
As a representative of L’Idem Barcelona, the coordinator of the higher course of Digital Design, Pablo García, and the professor of digital design and coordinator of the project, Guido del Solar, together with the presidents of the Association of Merchants of La Rambleta.
At the event, the 11 projects that they have worked on, both schools and commercial axes, could be seen in an exhibition format, and which will be projects that will materialize over the following years. The publication that includes the two years of projects and proposals that emerged was also presented.
The program ‘Dissenyem Comerç’ began with the 2020-2021 academic year with the work of seven commercial hubs in the city: Santsi Sagrera-Elisava; Poblenou-Acid House; Eix Comercial Torrijos-LCI Barcelona; Xarxa de Comerç Divers-MB Design UPC, Sarrià-EINA, La Rambleta-L’Idem Barcelona. In the 2021-2022 edition, Cor Horta-BAU, Fabra Center-ESDAPC, Born Comerç-Escola Massana and Passeig de Gràcia-IED joined.
What does the ‘Dissenyem Comerç’ program consist of?
The ‘Dissenyem Comerç’ program has enabled 10 training centers in the field of creative industries to work on 11 commercial hubs in Barcelona to revitalize local commerce.
