L’Idem International Animation Summit 2023 was held from January 25 to 27 at the L’idem campus in Perpignan. In this first edition held in France, the event brought together around 30 international studios and 75 students from the center of France and Barcelona with the aim of connecting the talent that emerged from the center with the job market.
During the interviews, the students specialized in Concept Art, 2D Animation, 3D Animation and 3D Generalist made job dating in which the students had the opportunity to show their portfolios or demo reels to the companies in different interviews, lasting approximately 15 minutes, and the professionals had the opportunity to carry out < em>feedback of their work, as well as publicizing the different professional opportunities that exist in their work departments

This professional event began with a visit to the new campus of L’Idem France and the inaugural presentation ceremony was held in the Auditorium by the Director from L’Idem France and Barcelona, Pierre Roca. Immediately afterwards, the animation studios and case studies were presented where Ghost VFX and TAT Productions explained the projects they carry out in their respective animation studios.
The Summit continues to bet on collaborating with the most internationally recognized animation studios within the sector. This year, the following companies participated: Ghost VFX, TAT Productions, Illumination Macguff, The Mill >, Teamto, Andarta Pictures, Puppetworks, Poleprod, Motion Appetit, < strong>Studio Kimchi, Teidees, Hampa Studio, Shantoo, Alchemist Studio, OOOLALA, Holybird Studio, Les Affranchis, Ikiru I Malil’Art and Fudji Studio.
For yet another year, the participation of studios in Summit 2023 reaffirms that this professional meeting has become a platform for connecting professionals and future animation talents.
