Barcelona Design Week celebrates its 17th edition

News

Barcelona Design Week reaches its 17th edition. The annual event on design and creativity in Barcelona will take place from 2 to 22 June. The festival is committed to bringing the world of design closer to the public and demonstrating its transformative capacity in the social, economic, ecological and cultural spheres. For three weeks it will offer a full programme of activities, including the following:

  • Sweet Edible Garden: edible sweet garden designed by Alexa Trilla of Archicookture.
  • Presentation “Legal paradigm of graphic design, a tool for survival” by the Col·legi Oficial de Disseny Gràfic de Catalunya.
  • Culinary experiences such as Inter-, an interactive dinner based on the concept of “Me + You = Us”.
  • Canvas, an artistic intervention: the artist Anna Taratiel will execute a pictorial work evoking internal landscapes and reflections on the environment. The difference? Her canvas will be two pieces of furniture from the Escofet company.
