Second year students Advanced Course and Master of 2D 3D Animation and Videogames participated in workshops in the last edition of ANIMAC, the International Animated Film Festival of Catalonia, which was held from February 23 to 26 at Llotja de Lleida.
L’Idem Barcelona participated in the open space of ANIMACREA in which different students held workshops on different animation techniques and specializations: Concept Art, 2D, 3D and Generalist 3D. The objective in this space is for the audience to discover the techniques and potential of animation as a means of expression.
In this twenty-seventh edition, the Mostra has reached 23,000 attendees, thus recovering from previous years marked by the pandemic. In addition, in this edition a total of 88 selected films from France, Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom have been selected. This year the motto has been Latam boom!, focusing on the creativity of Latin American animation as the protagonist in this edition.
