Perhaps one of the most creative professions is that of graphic designer. But have you ever wondered what this discipline consists of? Graphic design is the profession that aims to create and transmit messages through visual elements, either with images or combining it with texts.
On April 27, World Graphic Design Day is commemorated, or also known as World Communication Design Day, to reflect the work in this union and the importance it has acquired in society over these decades and its role in visual communication.
The motto of this 2023 is Peace. Love. Design! as a tribute to the creation of the peace sign logo, designed by Gerald Holtom in 1958. This day wants to make us reflect on how design also has an important role in solving current problems: climate change, wars, social and economic inequality, etc.
