January 25: World Advertising Day

Diseño

What is Advertising? For professionals who are dedicated to this professional field, it is a form of communication that has the purpose of publicizing, increasing or improving the consumption of a product or brand within the market. To commemorate this day, January 25 was chosen, precisely the Day of Saint Paul the Apostle, one of the people who most preached the word of God. In addition, with the implementation of new technologies, this festivity has also been extended to be celebrated by all those professionals who work in the digital field: digital designers, ICT, Marketing and Communication.

This day also coincides with Saint Publicito Day and Santa Publicita. The first, for the creative campaign carried out by Peanuts & Monkey. And the second, for the campaign carried out by the agency Grow to make visible the role of women in this sector.

Next, we show you 5 digital design trends for this 2023:

1.Inclusive Visual Designs
Brands will expand their tendency to use illustration, icons and animations focused on diversity or inclusion, acquiring a high priority within graphic design.

2. 3D graphics
The metaverse craze has exploded the trend to use 3D illustrations. During this year, the design of illustrations will give importance to aspects such as volume, depth and movement.

3. Motion Graphics and Animationon
In 2023, more importance will be given to dynamic UX designs and video content. The rise in interest in motion graphics has been thanks to the consolidation of social media platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram, and Youtube. For this reason, many brands will increasingly choose to create short-form videos to replace static posts.

4. Trend towards colorful and retro illustrations
Vintage visual trends will continue, but there will be a nostalgic boom for the 90s. Likewise, the bright color palettes, pixelated images and a clear tendency to use the collage technique or the influence of urban art in the designs.

5. Virtual Reality
2022 was the starting point to make your way into the Metaverse. The use of virtual reality will continue to be a trend in web design this year. Fashion, hospitality, interior design or cosmetics are some of the sectors that are increasingly using this technique to improve the user experience.
